The Gospel according to Tuffy Turtle
These are continuing the stories of a special family of Turtles, known as Spirit-urtlelus, ("Spir-it-tur-tle-lus") from the Beginning of Time to the coming of the Special One, the Son of the Creator God. Our story takes place during the seventy-seven generation of Tuffy Turtles in the land called Judea, the land of Jesus.
It has been four hundred years since the Creator God has talked to His people and to the Spiriturtlelus family. The first Tuffy of the Spiriturtlelus family was blessed with the gift of Faith and they shared it from generation to generation. But one of his friends, J.R. Rabbit, just couldn't get it. This was the first of the Skeptirabbituses and these two families of turtles and rabbits travel through the history of God's people, one sharing God's faith and the other questioning it.
Now, our story continues about these two seventy-seventh generations of Spiriturtlelus and Skeptirabbituses. Tuffy still talking about Faith in the Creator God and J.R. who just couldn't get the idea of faith… until….
Well, I don't want to spoil the story so read on and see what happens as J.R. travels alongside Tuffy during this special time when Jesus walked the Earth. The Creator God in human form… And sometimes J.R. is even leading Tuffy to the child they both witnessed being born. It is J.R. who encourages Tuffy to "come and see."
"But ya gotta see it to believe it!" he would often say too Tuffy.
So you see, Tuffy and J.R.'s descendants travelled through history together. The Spiriturtlelus told the story of the Great Creator and His Love for His Creation, and the Skeptirabbituses questioned everything… until the coming of Jesus!
